Good listen thanks, Belfitt has definately got it in for us. Hayes had no name on his jersey as he only joined the club last week.If you cut out the “errrs” and “ummms” you could drastically reduce the time of your blog, lol😂😂😂😂.

    • Paul Newman says:

That should read “joined the club last week. If you cut out the “urrrrrs”

      • I don’t think any official has it in for any team in particular but there were some really odd calls. There was one where I laughed out loud and yelled “how did we get away with that one!”

I appreciate the comment about the umms and urrs but it’s a stylistic choice to do record these on the fly. In the past when I’ve done recorded versions of Running with the Herd, I tried scripting the pieces in detail and it sounded naff and unnatural. I sound really stitled in offering my opinions and it makes for a poor piece. When I record a Running with the Herd like this (and remember, it’s usually a written piece and it’s Bison focussed), I have some ideas jotted down and just record. It flows better, sounds more natural and (I think) better. I appreciate it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but there was a lot to talk about and I’ve got to be happy with what I put out as well.

Either way, thanks for listening and all the best to Streatham for the rest of the season. They’re a great club.

Must say that I prefer the typed reviews. But pleased to see today that “Alexa, ask spreaker to play the BOTW podcast” works.

    • Won’t lie, that last bit’s pretty cool.

I do occasionally do the audio ones for my own amusement or if I am struggling for time but the plan is to always keep at least 90% of them written. It’ll never be a permanent change.
